The warm sunny weather we've been having has things popping and growing in the yard like crazy. The herbs (sage, rosemary, peppermint, spearmint, Italian parsley, thyme, and oregano) are thriving, the seedlings (corn, carrots, beets, and green beans) are growing practically before our very eyes, and the wildflowers, strawberries, and other little plants are giving us some much-needed color after months of bare beds. There's still a lot of (fun) work to do in our little yard - it's not all pretty and there are neglected and barren spots - but we're thrilled with the new life we're seeing so far.
