Last weekend we wanted to get out, somewhere we hadn't been for a while, and just enjoy the view on the way to wherever that was. We ultimately ended up in Sisters, with a stop at Suttle Lake on the way. I love heading out without a plan and being surprised by where we land.
I've been more absent here lately, mostly because my work has greatly increased and my free time has greatly decreased. I haven't quite gotten into a well-balanced groove yet, but I hope to get back into the swing of posting (and running and reading) more regularly again soon.
We have some big changes coming up in the next few months. We are moving back to Portland sometime over the summer! But first, we have some work to do on our house there after our renter moves out, not to mention the task of packing things up here. It's going to be a busy summer, but we are really looking forward to the projects and transition.
A year or two ago, we would have never thought we'd leave this area that we love so much, but the turns in the road have led us back to Portland, and we are quite happy to land there.
