We finally made it back to Camp Pioneer last Sunday, where we spent beautiful day last October. A couple of weeks later into the year this time, the colors were noticeably more yellow than the red I remember from last year. We again had the place to ourselves. The boys fished, and Klaus and I hiked and explored around the lake. We felt completely... away. Very good for the soul sometimes, indeed.
