How lucky are we to have rafted the Clackamas River twice in one week? We put in at McIver and got out at Barton, which I believe is about 8 miles. Like me, Thor was a little anxious at first, but before long he was asking where the next "rapid" was. We stopped to picnic (Thor and I) and fish (husband, who caught 6 fish!). I love that this is a new way to see the waterways of Oregon that I find so beautiful, to follow their paths...to not just see them from the edge, but to be a part of their continuous motion.
