sweet + stolen

A sublime day at the Oregon coast on a ThursdayThe sand between our toes was cool instead of the hot we've become accustomed to the last few months.  Fog and mist settled down into the trees and across the beach.  Black crows sat on sun-bleached smooth driftwood logs.  Orange and purple flowers popped out of the gray mist to let us know summer is not over.  But the scents, the birds, and just the feel of things let us know that fall is on the way.  Everything felt like a dreamy deep breath that was asking us to slow down.
