"We live here." I say this so often to my husband, whether we are at the coast, in the forest, driving through the country, walking around downtown Salem, and even when we are simply sitting on our back patio together. I feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world.
These pictures are from a couple of weeks ago, on the first day of fall. We went hiking, fishing, picture-taking, and picnicking, and passed through three beautiful forests while doing so - Santiam State Forest, Willamette National Forest, and, after taking a couple of side roads, somehow found ourselves in the Mt. Hood National Forest. I ♥ Oregon.
